WOW! I am so thankful I found this Doctor.
I have never felt rushed at an appointment and I'm always greeted with a smiling face. Doctor Tran is a very busy internist but he always makes me feel like I'm the only patient in the building. His staff has always gone above and beyond for any of my needs which I'm always appreciative of. The phones are busy so I utilize the online portal for easy access to my records or to make appointments. Most other offices in town are weeks out on appointments and Doctor Tran's office is usually able to get me in if not the same week the very next one. I really like the small staff and I always get to see a Doctor not a midlevel provider like most other places in town.

The office staff was helpful during my visit but getting a hold of anyone after leaving the office is horrible. Ive been waiting on a prescription for the past month. I have called multiple times, left voicemails and messaged them through their portal and I havent heard back. Im not even sure if this office is still open. Ultimately, I had the pharmacy reach out to the Drs Office and they still have not heard back from them. Nice staff in person but horrible office management. Lindsay I never got your call back. I have decided to switch PCP. thank you

Dr Tran really cares about his patience. He takes his time and is an amazing doctors. He has had previous clerks who were rude but the people there now are super sweet and caring! If you cant ever reach the office, leave a voicemail and they return your call same day. They really are my favorite office because I feel like he cares and isnt rushing you out the door.

I hadn't been to my primary care physician in so long that they put me to a new patient status. Since I had moved recently anyway I decided to find someone closer. The office is really clean and in a nice location and the staff was very pleasant. The wait wasn't even long enough for me to fill out my new patient paperwork. Dr. Tran was very thorough and had a great bedside manner. I've definitely found my new primary physician.

Like others, I want to make it clear that my review has little to do with Dr. Tran, and more to do with the quality of his office staff. I began seeing the doctor earlier this year and found him competent and caring. Shortly after beginning a new medication, COVID hit and options for office visits became limited. I had a online consultation where I was asked to obtain blood tests and a chest x-ray. His staff indicated that they would obtain a referral for the chest x-ray and notify me. They never did so and I never received any information around the results of my blood tests. I called last week to obtain a refill for my medication and received no call back. I called again today and the office representative insisted that it was my responsibility to schedule the X-ray and that "phones work both ways" if I wanted to obtain the results of my blood tests. At that point, I decided I was going to seek another provider.

Two stars as I feel sorry for his staff.
He was late 45 minutes to the office - I had the first appointment of the day - employees had no idea where he was.
Freaked out when I told him I may be TB positive and had a cough - left the exam room (door open) - yelled at employees for not having masks on and informing him that I may have TB - I do not tell the receptionist my medical problems.
Offered no advice except to go to the emergency room if my cough gets worse.
Fired him as my doctor that day - needed (and found) one dedicated to their work and patients.

Worst Dr. Office, I regret choosing this place. They do not call back when they say they will. They leave you out to die, if you require a refill for a prescription that they prescribed you even though the main issue was nerve damage and pain. They just put a bandaid and don't try to resolve the actual problem.
The front desk just hung up on me before this I typed this review. They were complaining that "we are short staffed" "our internet was down" when I know their internet was up last week when they said they would call. I'm done with this doctor and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless they want to experience malpractice.

DISCLAIMER: THE POOR REVIEW IS A REFLECTION OF THEIR OFFICE MANAGEMENT AND NOT THE COMPETENCE OF THE DOCTOR.
Dr. Tran is a VERY competent doctor.
Front desk staff and medical assistants have been kind to me in all with my dealings with them, specially during this time. The front desk staff have gone ABOVE AND BEYOND their responsibilities to do what they can.
However, the office management is very poor because I have been in constant contact with their billing department and it's like pulling teeth for them to get any response.
They have NEGLIGENT in their patient management in regards to billing practices and medical documentation that would seriously be a problem for the doctor were there to be some audit.
WHAT HAPPENED:
The doctor had discussed a procedure he has ordered for me for a specific condition. My claim was denied because the diagnosis that was submitted to my insurance was 1) NOT mentioned or discussed with me at all and 2) was unrelated to the procedure. I understand that the Medical assistant may have clicked and dragged the wrong ICD10 code but I had been trying for months to have them look into my chart and help me rectify this. 3) And if for some reason they did intend to use that diagnosis, I DID NOT GIVE CONSENT to have the procedure done for that reason.
I feel bad for the front desk staff as they are expected to act like officer managers while dealing with me -- it's not fair to them, that's not their job. Their office manager is not proactive, not present and doesn't seem to care about the practice. Despite Dr. Tran being an excellent human being and doctor, he SHOULD know what's going on in his office in ALL aspects.
The sad thing is that after talking to the staff of their billing department (who is a third party and not on site), they said that I have no choice at this point to go there in person and demand an audience with their office manager. To solve something that could have been done remotely on the phone. I have to now go there and make a scene or do some kind of "occupy wall street" until their office managers shows up.
The patient does not need to be the one managing the office and figuring this stuff out.
If you go see Dr Tran, please be comforted to know he is a great doctor.
If Dr Tran is reading this or his staff is reading this review I have one recommendation: GET A COMPETENT OFFICE MANAGER.
