Amazing Jamaican food. They have everything you crave from the classics, jerk chicken, curry goat, oxtail, etc.

Jerk sauce is spicy and pack full of flavor. Oxtail gravy is absolutely out of this world.

It is a little on the pricey side BUT the portions are big, you'll be super full or save it for another day.
These guys are the real deal.

Update: not sure what happened to the original cook but he or she must’ve left because the taste is bad now…. The first time I came the food was good no complaints, the next few times the food had good flavor but was very spicy and hard to eat. I came one more time after that hopeful the extra spice was a mistake or they take their reviews serious and would make changes, but this time everything about it was bad

Been here three times and the food is pretty good. In my opinion, the best Jamaican food in Las Vegas for sure.. The only reason why I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because the last two times I came the food was too spicy so it was a little hard to eat. The first time I came in it was perfect. Also, there was too many pimento seeds and a big piece of ginger that I thought was an oxtail.. besides that the flavors in the oxtails and stew chicken are really good..

Delicious and flavorful!! I'm not sure if the portion wasn't large enough or it was just that good I wanted more. Next time, I'll add a beef patty.

Edit: flavors are spot on!! However, I think portion size has to increase or add the option for a larger portion for a few dollars more. I hope business booms as this restaurant is one I would miss.

The food presentation looks good but the food is not as flavorful and hot and piping like other Jamaican restaurants. I’m from the Caribbean so I expected my meal to be a little more flavorful and spicy. Secondly, the portion size is small eg my rice and steamed cabbage was like a scoop each and then my curried goat was five pieces mixed with ackee (which I refuse to eat) and other vegetables which I ate. I bought plantains on the side. The food was barely warm. It just isn’t what I expected since I venture a lot into Jamaican restaurants. I have to add that the place is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly. Unlike other Jamaican restaurants, there is no long wait time here for food. I really wanted soup, but they were all out. Meals are pricey!

1st time in here, and I live 3, maybe even 4 minutes from here!!! I'm glad I came by!!!! So I had the 3irie Ribs 2irie Dark chicken, mac n cheese upgrade, Mama Salad, RED BEAN SOUP ?!!! To drink, I had the strawberry ginger root ? So good !!!! Listening to some of the Legendary Roots Rockers what a GREAT spot to Njoy some authentic Jerk style foods n drinks!!!! It will not disappoint. The staff is so friendly and attentive that even at the table, the owner asked if everything was good , a very colorful small restaurant with booth and table seating as well as a covered patio!!! Truly never felt so welcome, recommended!!!!!

I recently moved to the area and have been looking for good Jamaican food. I’m Caribbean and like my island food genuine and traditional, no fusion!

The jerk chicken is very good, perfectly seasoned and juicy and no chicken backs! The rice and peas are shelly and the stewed cabbage cooked just right without too much salt! The curry goat flavour is so nice. It could be cooked just a little longer, but I still liked it! Oh, and the portions are good enough for leftovers.

J & V Irie Jerk is now my default when I don’t want cook and want a taste of home!

If you want excellent customer service, this is the place the go! The male cashier and male cook in the back went above and beyond to make sure my mom had something to eat since she has a pressure problem. We’re from New York visiting LA and we are born Jamaicans. The food here is authentic and flavorful. I would give ten stars if I could! Excellent

Food was extremely flavorful and did not disappoint. We had the Beef Patties (just a heads up- they were pretty spicy but very good), the Brown Stew Chicken (my absolute favorite Jamaican dish), Oxtail, Plantains (some of the sweetest I have ever tasted!) Irie Mac n Cheese, Jerk Chicken (grilled and seasoned to perfection!), Rice and Peas, and Festival. The “festival” were way too starchy and unlike any festivals I have had before. They are the only thing I do not recommend. My kids are half Jamaican and their Grandparents are from Jamaica so we know good Jamaican food! And this was definently good! The only thing I was disappointed on was the portion size. I understand the cost-of-living has been going up and the cost to purchase poultry has gone up but $30+ dollars for a plate of food with only four pieces of meat is a little discouraging. The food was delicious just smaller than average portions.
