Dr. Rivera was not only an excellent doctor, but a wonderful, caring and compassionate person. He had been my primary care Physician for almost 20 years and ALWAYS took the time to listen to you and was able to diagnose the problem immediately. I am so very saddened by his passing and wish to express my condolences to his family.

He will be sorely missed.

He is a great humantarian, excellent Doctor has the best bed side manner and is willing to go the extra mile to help you. I have been with him for 28 yrs. My mother is his patient as well. Dr Rivera is above and beyond in my opinion, and the best in his class. I hope he is able to make a recovery. We will never be blessed with such a wonderful doctor, friend.

I was a patient of Dr. Rivera's for about 5 years until I moved and it was to far to drive to see him, he was recommend from a friend that was going to him as well..And I have to say switching to him was the best decision I ever made..He was the best doctor I have ever had, he took his time and answered every question truthfully.. He had the greatest smile and so funny, I missed being able to go to him and when I received the letter about his passing I was heartbroken.. He was one of a kind that is for sure, does anyone know the cause of his passing? My thoughts and prayers still to his family..Know he was amazing at his profession and we surely need more doctors like him in the world.. You are sorely missed Dr.R...

Dr. Rivera was my primary physician for over 20yrs. I absolutely loved the way he cared and was straight up with what I needed to do to maintain health. Dr. Rivera has been my primary care for approx. 27 years (we are growing old together). He has been through all the hell I have suffered (along with him) as I have severe Chronic Fatigue/Fibromaylagia (Pain Disorder)[before it even had a name] and am 100% Disabled according to Social Security Code. I don't know how I would have survived without Dr. Rivera. He is compassionate, friendly (great bed-side manners) and he truly cares about each of his patients. He wakes up each day thinking "who can I save today." And even if this condition doesn't kill me, without Dr. Rivera - mentally I might not be here today. I thank him for making me feel as if I was his only patient and sincerely meaning it! - Robin S.

My entire family and many friends saw Dr. Rivera. We have been seeing him for more than 8 years now, and I have never had a more caring, passionate and brilliant Doctor in my life. He talked me into actually taking strong enough BP medication, that will very likely extend my life well beyond the path I was on. He chatted everyone up, and no matter how long I had to wait in the exam room, it didn't matter. You knew when he came in to see you, he wouldn't leave until you had all your questions answered. He always asked about family, work, you name it.
His simple honest and pragmatic approach to life has change mine forever. He knew what was wrong with me within 5 minutes of my visit and I never witnessed him being wrong, with my, or my families care. He was so funny, fast witted, and there were many times in my life that his honest and straight forward approach to care was just what I and my family needed in times of great stress. I have never so looked forward to going to or so sad walking away from a Doctors office in my life, and I may never again.

I have recently learned of his passing and feel so lucky and blessed to have had a last visit so recently. I still remember his smile, our talk, his cursing the rolling cart he used for his patients medical records, and his firm handshake. After which he grabbed his rolling cart, spit out a fast and funny joke as he wrestled the cart into the next patients room.

My most heart felt condolences go out to his family and friends in this time of grief. I hope that anyone who knew him will remember him as fondly and often as we will. God bless you Dr. Rivera ,you will be missed more than I can express, and thank you, thank you for taking care of me, and so many people that I love.

Dr. Antonio Rivera was the consummate physician. I have never known a more competent and compassionate doctor. He was the all time best. I will miss him so much.
