UPDATE: After going round and round with the customer service rep. We did resolve the issue. The customer service rep seemed like he was part-time, because response times were slow. However, he did send me a new set of headphones that were in good condition under the one-year warranty. He tried to get me to repair my own phones, but decided to replace the broken ones. Yah! So I am amending my review.

I have several types of V-Moda headphones and ear buds. I am a big fan. I was especially a fan of their customer service. I guess when Roland bought V-Moda, they discontinue customer service. I bought a nice pair of headphones (noise cancellation) and they broke within a few months. The telephone number for V-Moda is not in service. The email I send comes back with the same question. "Please send photos." I have done that four times. Still the email comes back "Please send photos." As good as their headphones sound is, their customer service is in the toilet and they cannot be reached by phone. It sounds like they are going out of business.

So I bought V-Moda M200 and one of my ear pad went BAD and now I’m trying to get a replacement and V-Moda doesn’t sell them ANYWHERE. What kind of company is this, they only take your money and don’t care for the customers. DON’T BUY V-MODA!!!

Paid $250 for a pair of headphones, barely used them. Left side gives out all of a sudden, no sound at all. Contacted the company for support. ANY support. Silence. Do not buy from them for any reason.

I used to own the Crossfade lp1 and was quite pleased, however, in my experience, they are extremely low quality headphones now a days and the customer service is severely lacking...

Why should a $300 dollar purchase require an aftermarket part to make it not hurt your head after longer than 15 minutes of use? (Xl ear cushions $20). I'm not a giant by any stretch of the term. 6'0" 180lbs... Headphones should, and always have fit comfortably right out of the box!

Also, why would a now +$300 pair of headphones cut in and out like a scratched CD skipping on a dirt road in the 90's? The Bluetooth connection would lose signal through my head if my phone was kept in my usual left pocket... +$300 Bluetooth signal can't pass through 180 lbs of human?!? I've had $80 headphones that didn't have this issue!!

When I contacted customer service about this issue they directed me to the hard reset instructions that I had already found and followed online through a cursory Google search. Failing to fix the issue, customer service had no other solutions for me, they didn't even suggest sending me a different pair, (probably because they knew that the replacement pair would also suck...)

Beyond all that, even when they were plugged in and not in Bluetooth mode, the soundstage was slightly off center, and a gentle tapping on the exterior of the left earcup would produce a loud metallic popping sound like the speaker diaphragm warping or something, I found this out while pulling my hood up over my head while wearing on a windy day. The pressure of the hood on my phones as I turned my head was what initially lead me to discover the obvious lack of build quality. These issues were however not present in the lp1 Crossfade headphone I used to own...

Their overall quality has unfortunately decreased since I first purchased the Crossfade lp1 almost 3 years ago... Standard practice, lure us in with quality craftsmanship then bait n switch and outsource all production to a third world country to save money all the while charging more for the inferior 2.0 product... Thanks Roland, for sending manufacturing to Hong Kong!!

These headphones are garbage now, and so is the company.

Have tried pretty much every major brand of DJ headphones and keep returning to V-Moda. My first pair, the LP2, was stolen and I promptly replaced them with another LP2 because nothing else compared. Eventually, after three or so years of heavy use the cable port at the headphone wore out and I replaced them with the M-100 and LOVE them. Sold the LP2 to a friend who doesn’t mind the loose connection. Hoping they stand up to more abuse than the LP2.

Hexamove Pro - these are the worst!! They suction so well, when you pull them out, its painful on your eardrum. Customer service said, pull out slower. That's the worst!! They won't let me return even tho there is actual PAIN. Ive worn them once. Very sad this is the result of me contacting them. #notgood #badreview #painful #vmoda #hexapro

I paid for first class international postage. Unfortunately, there is no time period or ETA mentioned on the shippings page, or the delivery email I received.

I have been waiting for 35 days for my headphones, with no update.

BILLY then responded to my inquiry, saying that first class will take 6-8 weeks. Why was I not informed earlier?

I then asked if BILLY could at least defer the 60 day refund GUARANTEE until I actually received the headphones. BILLY denied said request.

I also asked if BILLY could defer my warranty until I received the product. BILLY ignored the question.

Do not purchase from v-moda directly. If you really REALLY need to purchase their products, use Amazon as they actually care about their customers.

"Sorry for the inconvenience" BILLY.

How the mighty have fallen. I used to rate these headphones very highly, my crossfade M-100s are still a fine pair of headphones, however the same cannot be said for the Crossfade wireless I brought a little over a year ago.

The electronics failed after a year and a half, convenienetly just after the warranty expired. All they can offer is 20% of a new pair of headphones, provided I send my broken ones back to the US. When taking into acount customs charges getting a new pair sent back this will probably cost me more than it will save

A good pair of headphones from a good manufacturer should last more than a year and a half, and I always had V-Moda down as a good manufacturer. Clearly this is not the case anymore, so much for 6 star service.

Avoid like the plauge!
